Fresh off my viral LeBron video, I messaged the CEO about an open DP role, claiming I lived in New Jersey—figuring a kid from Ohio wouldn’t stand a chance at a fashion magazine. She replied, “Great! Be here tomorrow at 8 am.” I drove through the night, rolling into the city just in time for breakfast and a successful interview. I very quickly packed up and moved to NYC.
Backed by Idil Tomanca’s vision, our team of ten youngin artists transformed a single–issue, tri‑state zine into a global fashion authority—shooting A‑listers on sprawling sets, distributing internationally and learning that ambition, fresh ideas and the right support can turn any spark into a powerhouse.
